From the front view of the tunnel. You can only watch lot of water coming out of tunnel in the month of June to July. The source of water is coming from Chinnakallar when overflow occurs on rainy season.
The Water often comes from chinnakallar in rainy season in a circular manner, that is if in that monsoon heavy rain is above its capacity in that monsoon. The water flow will be over at that time. Then due to overflow they will open the water through chinnakallar and its comes via tunnel. its very dangerous to take bath in this tunnel more loops .
Because of loop whole in entrance of the tunnel,Already more than 4 people died in this tunnel swimming is strictly prohibited.so be cautious when you going to the tunnel. And at the rainy season, water from the side by tea plantation will be look like small falls and some times flow of water will cover the whole area.
