Athirapally Water Falls:

Athirapally Water falls is situated in the middle of the forest of western ghats. You can experience the pure water and fresh air.

Athirapally water falls belong to Kerala State. As compared to other places Athirapally falls is So beautiful gift of nature inside the forest, which is located 74 kilometers away from Valparai and From  Sholayar dam moreover it takes only half an hour to travel to Athirapally falls.

This falls is under the control of Malakkapara forest department and tourist are allowed through this check post from morning 6.00 am to evening 6.00pm, Bidirectional from Valparai and towards Valparai from Chalakkudi.

From Valparai , Chalakudi is located around 138 kilometres from Valparai. chalakudi is the only way to come to this place from kerala. 

Athirapally falls is about 53 metre in height and nearby falls we could find resort to stay there itself .

This way through Athirapally is too dangerous from Valparai because

of some of the wild animals will be more in this place. Especially elephant and bison will be there so the forest guard is not allowing any vehicles to pass after 6.00 pm. Falls comes under Kerala and Tamilnadu border .while coming you should be aware of before 6 o clock you should cross check post.
